Here are some recent flower pictures that I took with my S5600. It is older than the cameras that most devotees have been using, but gives me quite good results. Have been thinking of upgrading, but am cautious after all the negative comments about the HS10. Would really like to have the zoom power for birds photos though.

My favorite is the pond flower, very nice. You did cheat however, I can't see a flower in the last image.

I like this thistle shot. You may consider a dip in the luminousity pool to add some contrast and remove the "Fujifilm haze"

Really nice detail on this flower. A might suggest that you try to change the bg next time by either creating more bg blur by using macro and extending your lens or if you are hitting the limit of the cams ability try using a "fake" bg. I have a piece of black foamcore board that I scored and folded so I can stand it behind and snap away.
