My last header for this request wasn't very good :-(

I'd appreciate links to any landscape photos taken with MFT cameras....
or, if you prefer, direct postings here!

Thanks.

Mark

I haven't done a ton of landscape photography yet with my m4/3 gear. I prefer to use a tripod for landscapes, so if I'm hauling the tripod I'm probably going to haul my Nikon D200 as well. For the daffodil field photos below I took shots with both my GF1 and with my D200 and a Tokina 12-24mm lens mounted to a tripod (with a polarizer). I made 13x19 prints from the Daffodils taken with both cameras and the GF1 shots compare extremely well.

Daffodil Fields in Skagit Valley, WA - GF1 + 20mm f/1.7

Bellingham Bay, Washington - GF1 + 45-200mm

Bellingham Bay Sunset - GF1 + 20mm f/1.7

Try Vern Dewit's gallery at http://verndewit.com/ . Some Nikon D700 pictures in there, but a ton of landscapes taken with GH-1 and GF-1. He shows the advantage of a lightweight camera that can be taken up to remote peaks in the Rockies.

Thanks guys.

Great examples of what's possible.

So many terrific photos with Vern Dewits' being the perfect capper.

Now I'll just need to figure out which lenses to bring with me and my G2 when I head to the Tetons and Yellowstone

Wow. Congratulations burnymeister; very good shots.

Nice, are you using any filters? What white balance mode are you using? Did not see that data.

In my opinion, the absolutely best place to get full size landscape images is at DCRESOURCE.com. This guy is FANTATIC! He takes the same landscapes from the same places with each camera that he reviews. His images of China town in San Francisco, are especially useful for comparing cameras. Also, unlike some sites, he uses the kit lenses that usually come with the cameras.

These images can be viewed side by side and zoomed in for pixel peeping by that great free program Faststone.

He also takes a night shot of San Francisco at a full range of ISO from the same spot with each camera.

At first glance, this can appear a pretty ordinary shot of an orange grove. At second (and subsequent) glances, it has a really lovely impressionist feel. If it were mine, I'd experiment with simplification, blurring, toning, etc.

But even apart from any further work, I find it very appealing. Thanks.

Great shots in this thread.

Here's one I took with the GF-1 20mm just down the road from me on New Year's Day past.
