I'm just up the road in San Marcos. I didn't see any today...must be too hot out!i live in san antonio and yes, they are everywhere. nice shots. haven't seen as many colorful ones lately.

Ha! I was thinking that the background on your shots here were nicely blurred, and almost asked you if you had used the "pro focus" mode. But you answered that for me!I used P mode, Auto ISO 400, DR 400, in macro mode of course. I used the macro trick, using the macro "sweet spot" focal length of 55mm (f/4.9) in order to isolate the subject.

I have messed with Pro Focus in some past shots...I didn't even think about it here, totally spur of the moment. The camera did the bokeh magic for me!Ha!
