More or less, do not remember exactly. If you use another program, play with the multipliy layer. I prefer to use multipliy layers, it gives depth of color and tone, and more expressive images, especially for printing.

Okay, this is my attempt to somewhat replicate by crop and adjustment in Aperture. I didn't really know what everything did so I played with the sliders until I was satisfied with what I saw.

One last shot. I tried composing so the flower was at the point of convergence for the major lines in the background. I find the result visually disturbing and can't decide if that's a good or bad thing.





Had to use flash since getting dark here.

BTW: Please ignore the previous post. I would delete it if I could. After going back and looking at the pp versions I was trying to replicate I saw how pitiful mine had turned out.

To me it's the second one, no doubt.
