Rather than share the "proper" pictures,

I thought people might appreciate the varied and unusual wildlife which, if you are stealthy and lucky, can be visible in almost any UK urban environment :)
Very good Martyn, some great shots, not so rare though, plenty of each species round here in south Essex unfortunately!
Shame the duck spoilt it, lol!! :-)

Ah, an essex boy like myself. I should have known! You must be used to these sort of creatures up there. Tilbury, Purfleet, Grays, loads of photo opportunities like this.

Yes, the duck just sort of snuck in :)

great photo of this lesser-known species.

Last time i was back in Scotland i managed to get some shots of the related species the Buckfast Brambling.

Teabagus arborealis -the tree dwelling tea bag. and Dog-poo-bag arborealis are common as well. ;)

This is a very enjoyable series of impressionistic photographic art IMHO. That you did it with your new HS10 makes it even better.

Thanks for sharing and good job.

The Black BagusPlasticus Arborealis is incredibly common in this area. I don't think they get that far north tho. :) :) :) :)

Well, I'm not quite an Essex boy, it's just that this is where I come to work and most of my friends are here, I'm a country guy really, and this is not my most favorite place in the world, but as you say, plenty these sorts of creatures, lol!!
