New D100 Owner

Wow, what a view! Is that your backyard?
I wish!

Actually, it was taken from South Salt Lake City...as I balanced the big old Tamron lens on top of a chain link fence (the tripod was at home).

Very good picture.

Could you put your lense cap on, switch to manu focus and take a picture. You should get a all black picture. If you do not. There may be a problem.

I like to hear you got a D100 without hot pixel. I think you like to know that too.

That is a really nice shot. No learning curve for you! The Tamron acquitted itself well, proving once again that great shots are made by photographers, not just lenses. But it helps to have the D100 with some kind of lens on it!!!
