a few shots of Harleys. fwiw..
  1. 248 was dark (my fault) so I brought up its overall brightness then
applied RGB noise reduction in post-processing. But it was too dark
to begin with, another lesson learned. I was fussing with Manual
Shift at the time.

Bob, those areb eautiful!

What do you mean by RGB noise reduction? Is this a PS add in, or a separate program, or the despeckle filter?

Photo-Brush (shareware image editor vs 1.95 http://www.mediachance.com
by R. Voska) has 6 items under tools/noise and "RGB Noise Reduction"
is one of those six. I haven't tried the others - no clue what they do,
but this feature does a good job on noise removal. An added benefit
is the jpeg file size is also reduced dramatically (made sense after
giving it some thought). Other noise reduction programs/algorithms

(like Neatimage) probably work as well or better, but this one has been good enpugh so far and it is built into the editor. Bob
