After my D70 was broken some weeks ago, i decided to step-up to the next class, leaving the d90 behind and have selected the d300s. I've also added the MB10 battery grip, and the handling is now so far better! I love the cam. Here are some random impressions from Stockholm (C&C welcome)

These both b&w taken directly in the camera

You certainly know how to use your new gear. That's a wonderful series of shots you've uploaded. They were a delight to view.

Lovely shots.

I'll be in Stockholm in September. Any photo location suggestions?

Hmm i think in Stockholm you'll find tons of location to get nice pictures. Old, small streets and buildings, wonderful nature sites and lot of water (and not to forget to mention the beautiful swedish girls :) )

One of my Stockholm higlights was defenetly the old recovered ship, the Vasa! You shouldn't miss to get a look on. To get photos you need a good gear, best a zoom objective with f2.8. The light is dimmed to conserve the wood, i've done some nice shots but have to correct the white balance before i can post them here :)

Hope you will enjoy you tripp to Stockholm as we did! Friendly folk but the alcohol is too expensive :-D

thx christian

Mark, two suggestions for photo locations --

1) The center of Stockholm has a tributary from the Baltic Sea, and the waterfront s a great place to spend some time. There are a number of sailboats docked at one end, and the overall scene is really nice.

2) Gamla Stan (the "Old City") -- narrow, cobblestone streets, great photo ops.

Have fun1

Thanks to Christian and Tom for the suggestions. I'm looking forward to it.
