Thanks Shay, this is one of those shots that I completely owe to mother nature. I saw this being created while on my way to my brother's place on the lake, and I hit about 100mph to get there before the sun fully set! I never thought my sports adrenaline could be outdone by my photography adrenaline. It wasn't even close!

Thanks for you comment!!

Jim
This is simply stunning Jim.

Hi Mike,

Actually, it was from a lake out "west". My brother lives on Lake Independence in Medina - only about 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Minneapolis. I wish it would have been Lake Nokomis as that's my cash cow right now. This would have been a nice addition. My brother just keeps asking me for free copies of this for his neighbors...

Going to the MPS meeting on Monday?
Beautiful Jim, is this Lake Nokomis or a lake "up north" shot?

Regards,

Hey Jeff,

This one is neither! It's the lake my brother lives on about 20 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis - Lake Independence. Great muskie fishing lake, but man is it ever croweded on a weekend afternoon...
wonderful shot Jim, is this the river or one of your 10k lakes

Hey Uly,

Thanks! Yeah, I think I struck gold somewhere along the way here... They changed the screen now, but basically the same program. A little more commercial and random now, but still fun! Another 20 or 30 times and maybe someone would start to recognize the name! lol

I'm I received the same kind of notice I just deleted last time. When the new program started on 9/9, I submitted a handful of pics but never heard anything until yesterday. I had written them all off!

If one of my kids shows up again I'll drive out, but I've seen sunsets before... ;-)
This is awesome, Jim. Looks like you found the perfect POTD site in
terms of sheer recognition and number of eyes that avail themselves
of your work! :-)

Too cool.
