LCD on DC4800

I was wondering if anyone has experienced a problem with their LCD. The problem I have is every time I take a shot using the LCD, the LCD goes blank after the shot and won't come back on. I always have to turn it off and back on to be able to use the LCD. I'm not sure if it's just a settings problem or the camera is just bad.

Could it be one of the power savings settings? I tried setting mine to powers ave on , and it didn't quick view, but the LCD came back on after about 3 seconds, ready to take another shot. I cannot duplicate yours unless the battery is half shot, and then this is normal. It doesn't want you to waste battery power on the LCD. Instead of turning it off, you can just press the yellow display button when this happens instead of turning it off.
