Which other lens have a 58mm thread size for canon cameras? I recently bought a circular polarizer for my 18-55 kit lense and I'm wondering what else would it fit on.

The 60/2.8 is 52mm but the 70-300 is. Good catch. The 28-105 is 58mm too60/2.8, 70-300IS24/2.8, 28/1.8, 50/1.4, 85/1.8, 100/2.8, 100/2, 55-250IS off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed some

I do the same for the same reason. Insanity I believe would set in if a photographer had to have more than a couple size filter sets (58 and 77 in my case). It will also work with any lens under 58mm with an adapter ring.
For example I keep a 52-58mm adapter on my 35mm f2 so I can use the same 58mm filters and lens caps as with my 18-55mm and 70-210mm f4
