From a surprise snow storm on the first Sunday in this Spring to 73 degree weather just two days later this Tuesday... the Z5fd gets a "workout" from "anti-blur"mode "road shots" in a snow storm to "bright Spring color" closeups.

Imagine what the "sequence" would be like if I had been "testing" the HS 10 the last three days! (Note to Fujifilm Corporation: Do you want my "ship to" address?)

Hehehe.....I've heard the saying: "Don't like the weather? Just wait a couple of days, it'll change." But this is ridiculous!
Great stuff here Norm. I love the last shot especially(daffodil?). :)

Dan.

Very nice photo sequence. Amazing story told in these images.

Yeah, Ron... fortunately it didn't get "too deep" OR too cold! (so now the blooms are coming out nicely)

Hey Dan! The daffodils "did well" through the snow storm... I've got some shots of our own in the snow (taken with the S9100) that I haven't posted yet. We don't have all the varieties that are "around town" (all yellow, orange and yellow, yellow and white, etc.). Right now the "excitement" is the pending thunderstorm activity... so I may not have the computer "up" long enough to post any of those tonight!

I'm kinda glad it was a "SHORT story"! Our Honda coupe acts as an "all weather" housing for us AND any camera BUT an "uncontrollable" camera like the Z5fd likes to auto focus on rain or snow on the window OR NOT auto focus on a moving, blurring object or scene! A few (VERY few) cameras have an "infinity lock" option (or "mode") available... I'd like to have it on my Z5fd AND our S9xxx cameras!
