I finally received a bracket for UZI today!
This bracket is designed exclusively for UZI and EZI.

It came with a hand made PC-cord, which does not support TTL but just works with regular external flashes like Vivitar 285HV.

A guy in Korea did a great job on these.
(His nick name is steve, as you can see in the bracket)
How much they (bracket + cable) cost ? You are not going to believe this.
It was less than $35 including Shipping!

I like it , but what it will happen if i like to use the UZI on a
tripod with this bracket on !!
From the photo, it looks like the knob on the bracket is threaded for a tripod.

I wonder how well the camera handles with the bracket and large flash attached, since it doesn't add an additional grip for stability like many other brackets.

Yep! Eric is right

Check this out.

Until now, the bracket seems very robust.
I don't know. Vivitar 285HV might be too big & heavy for this bracket.
Smaller yet Strong fresh like Metz was too expensive for me.

So can you give us any contact details? Website?

Not being a 2100 owner myself, perhaps you'd know if the cable is the same fitting as a C-4000?

That was my thought too. I noticed that when I got the heavier promaster 5750dx flash, the Stoboframe Stoboflip bracket that I was using was more wobbly, and I've been thinking about bracketing solutions.

The all idea is more than simple, i do not see the need to buy one, all that you need is the metal and one hot shoe, about the hot shoe you can use any of those fake hot shoes with the wire pre installed.
Personally i am thinking if it is to buy one for something like this ..

FWIW, I had a bracket like the pictured bracket, except it didn't fold up as my first bracket, and within about 1-2 months the screws holding the cold shoe on to the bracket came loose and I lost one. I could not a replacement screw at the hardware store or with eyeglass repair kits. Maybe the one you pictured will last longer.

I afraid that you guys probably may not be able to read most of the things
because the website is written in Korean.

I find that the best thing of this bracket is that I can keep it attached to UZI!. If the handstrap is attached, it seems even better ! (However, I
was told that the handstrap is out of stock currently)

For the 4000 question, he has a bracket for C-x0x0 series which certainly
includes 4000.

Anyway, the website is

I asked him whether he can sell those items in USA. He answered that
he is trying to do so but did not confirm when things will be ready.
Maybe the biggest concern for him seems that the payment method.

In my case, I have a bank account in Korea and just sent money to
his bank account (Of course Korean money).

I hope you guys, if you want, can get this bracket and cool accessories from him soon.

The bracket seems strong and well attached to UZI.

Unfortunately, the flash is fixed. cannot wiggle.

I think the wiggling option should be very useful !
That looks really cool! How rigid is the bracket? It looks like
it may allow the flash to wiggle from side to side a bit. The
price sure seems right!

...especially if you don't have a Korean font installed! I doubt if even the proprietor would recognise it..

Thanks anyway for the info. If the Koreans can do it, somebody else will probably produce something similar. In fact, it's only the cable that poses a real problem - suitable brackets are off-the-shelf items. Does anyone know of another source for the Oly plug? All my other camera/flash combinations are dedicated hot-shoe units, so I'm not familiar with what constitutes a standard flash cable these days.
