Extremely! I have to say that I was one of those holding out for a new Nikon body. I waited two months and was all set to wait a couple more but realized my child was only gonna be a newborn once and that I would miss out on shots only a dslr could take. I took the jump and got the d300s along with a 50mm 1.4g. I am loving both. There is something to be said about using primes and having to really think about being more creative rather than getting lazy with zooms as I often do! Anyways, she won't lack for photos!
