What lenses for 7D?

I have come from EOS Elan---in the dinasour days I suppose--- to the 7D.

I have 2 lenses--"Canon 28-80 Ultrasonic" and "Tamron AF 70-300 1:4-5.6" of course these are FF.

I would like to invest in 2 to 3 more lenses and am pretty much of a novice.

I shoot mostly landscape/animals and Architecture -70% but some sports (Soccer & Basketball) 20% & of course family events/Peortraits 10%

My questions are:
1. Should I stick with FF in the hope of one day a FF 7D?
2. Should I get EF-S for the 7D?
3. What 2 to 3 lenses would you consider mandatory (10-22, 17-55, 24-105)?

Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts

Now waiting for FF 7D equivalent is a tricky question. Yes, there will be 5DIII or 3D. But is waiting worth while when you can develop your skills?
If you get 7D, why do you want FF?

I think you should either get 7D and get going or buy a used 5D and wait for 5DIII.

Get the 15-85, a fast prime (Sigma 30mm F1.4 is great. It is the same as a 50mm on a FF), and skip the 10-22. Images look weird at 10mm anyhow.

15-85 is WAY wide enough for landscapes, and for sports outdoors its aperture is large/fast enough. It has the latest IS (4 stops).

My lenses with the 7D are basic and cover the range I'm apt to shoot 99% of the time.......
Roughly $3000

17-55f/2.8IS
100f/2.8 macro
70-200f/2.8IS
1.4xII TC

To cut back costs you might consider -
Roughly $1500

17-50f/2.8 Tamron
70-200f/4IS
