Winter is gone - finally

Nice shots, I know what you mean about the Winter, it's just started to warm up in the UK too.

I'm fascinated with no.3, the bird (Blue Tit?) is in a most unusual position, can you explain why?

Thanks

David

You lucky Germans! Our super-winter still going on strong here in Finland ;-)
I started to believe that spring was cancelled this year, but now ...

C+C welcome.
Hey - very nice pictures! I can almost feel the spring in these.

BTW - what lens you use with them (maybe DA55-300?)? I think it did good job - in your hands, of course ;-)

regards,

Ari

Hi Ari,

I used 2 and a half lenses:
  • the Winter Aconite: Kiron 105 + 1,7x AF Adapter
  • the Long-tailed Tit: DA 300 + 1,7x AF Adapter (actually 510 mm)
  • the Blue Tit: DA 300
The birds are cropped about 1 third.

I am sure your spring is just around the corner.

Thank you

It's just started warming up here in Pennsylvania this week. So far no flowers yet in my yard, though.

Thanks for sharing the encouraging photos. The flower shot is definitely my favorite. Nice!

That's a nice series.

That first photo is very interesting - very unique colors.

I don't mean to be surly, but in central Iowa we awakened to three to four inches of fresh snow this first morning of Spring.

Your pictures are very nice, particularly the first, and they do provide some hope that Spring will come, eventually.

Thanks for posting.
