Great shots, I like number two the most!

Do you know if the local people refer to their countryname a Myanmar or as Birma? There seems to be some debate in the west about naming, some don't want to use 'Myanmar' because it was changed to that name by the militarian regime..

Wow Piotr! Love this mini series and hope to see more from the same trip!

The first shot is both beautiful and perhaps a little disturbing, as the boy intense gaze, slightly twisted angle signifies a soul troubled a plently for his young years.. The beautiful blurred background the richly colored robe accentuate this by contrasting with the emotion content or message contained in the boys face making the image even more powerful

Image nr.2 This image is a fine example of travel photography at it’s best, the fairtale landscape we all long to excape to, the honey colored light eches out the temples one two three moving outward from the forgroundinto a hazy distance more temples soft greens an brown earth ease the eye, The hotair ballon echoes our rising inner excitement over the beautiful scene risesing in our breast.. You arrived at the scene with the right gear at the right time of the day, and brought itback, Great Work!!

Image nr.3 Artist at work, angels surfaces depth, mist distance, magical..

Image nr.4 Earthy tones curious we peer here and there in the frame finding a myriad of details that please the eye, but what of the people looking at you? A certain serenity rests over the scene, but also an edgy element taints the atmosphere, are we welcome here?

Image nr.5 quite the luscous interior light contrasting with the cooler scenes through the portals, towers framed inside on the floor, like mountains on a lake, might wish for a simpler version of the image, but no I like it as it is, as it gives a reel impression of what being there would be like!

IMage nr.5 is a feel good people shot, that makes fitting end to the series about this country history seems to have passed by, I wish all the best for them and you for showing us such great images!!

Changing light gives me the possibility of seeing the world from a new
perspective.
For me photography is a tool for capturing these insights, for reflection and
sharing.

Locals call it like "Myanma".

Don't blame militar hunta of Myanmar! It is only contry where you can still see real South East Asia. Hunta isolated it from globalisation and so on. I really, really like that place and hope their hunta will have long and good life! Would like to go and live there in monastery for some months or even year... Although I am deeply involved in globalisation - can't leave job, wife, home... I am slave of system, like most of us.

I cant't agree with that. I live in Poland. I was born in 1962 in the middle of Cold War. I lived 28 year in real communism - means real pur nonsense. No passports, no free press, no any real kind of social freedom. I was active for 7 years in underground movement of Solidarity.

Now begining of 1989 we are free. And it is big difference. It is big difference not because I can visit Birma or other places, it is big difference because I'm free, I can vote, I can read what I want, I can communicate with you and anybody else without any restrictions.

I'm not slave of any system now, if I'm not slave of anything if I'm slave of anything I'm slave of my mind, my needs or my imagination.

Globalisation is not anything we can fight against. We should fight againt people who take off freedom of other people.

sorry for my english - hope I was clear enough
