C-3040Z Landscape Shot

I took this photo from the top of Bowman's Tower in Buck's County, PA (The county "Signs" takes place in) The view is of bucks county near "Washington's Crossings", New Jersy is on the far side of the Delaware river. Table-top tripod, manual infinity focus, F8 1/250 shutter. Some brightening in PS.

Very nice shot. I think it might need some haze removal and noise removal but it is a great view. I hope you don't mind but I did a quick haze reduction and noise cleanup just to see. If you want to see the results look here.

Mind? I love it!! Very nice job, I would love to be able to do that with Photoshop, how did you do it? I just have Paint Shop Pro, what did you use? Do you think I could have done that with PSP? Thanks again,

I don't know anything about PSP but this is what I did in PSE. I used the unsharp filter at amount 75, radius 38 and threshold 0 . There is a good artical on sharping and haze removal which I will try to find and post.

I then ran the picture through my demo version of neat image.

Jonathan, great shot. I don't have mountains where I am -- so I never get to see views like this. Beautiful! I wonder if you used a polarizer on this -- might have deepened the blue sky. Thanks for posting this. Hope to see more. -- LC
