all these pictures are from my sony h5

Congratulations on your purchase. Use it in good health. I am sure it will produce great pictures in your hands, as all your cameras do. I hope to see some shots from this camera soon.

Congrats Bassy on your newby. Looking forward to seeing great things from this cam. By the way, if you ever need extra storage space, I have plenty of room here in Belize.

Welcome to the Olympus DSLR fraternity. I was just shooting yesterday with a fellow E-620 owner. She had the 12-60 which is a near replacement for the P-880's non removable lens and she has several others but the 12-60 is so seductive, it stays on a lot.

I shot with the 510 and the 330 (a bit sick at the moment) and a brace of old and new lenses.

Here are a recent lotus garden series:

It looks like a fine camera Keith, I'm sure you will take many great photos with it.

That's a very nice camera. As you probably know, I'm using two Olympus DSLR cameras also. That would be nice to see some pictures some day.

ananda i have looked and thought these two looked realy nice i will keep my eye open for
a good price=12-60 lens,,,,digi it was your pictures using the 70-300mm lens

that persuaded me to buy the e600... your people and bird shots were outstanding'

i am waiting to see what the results are like from the new fuji hs 10 starting at 24.mm

wide and its massive 30x zoom,,, so i may buy that camera and the oly 70=300 lens,,,,i will probally have to sell my sony r1 and my olympus 8080 to go down that route

i am not a rich man and i do have to make some hard decisions to balance out my needs
i think the oly colors are the nearest i am going to get from my kodak cameras

I just cant wait to see your pics out of this little monster bassy! Congrats!

edit: aw wait! are these your first pics post using the Olympus? They are stunning! :O

Digi has been establishing experience and technique in his 70-300mm. I think it is not an easy lens to use but Digi has done it.

The two photos you like are using my 7-14mm. Very sharp lens but quite expensive unless there is a major discount (I got mine like that). There is a 9-18 which is excellent and cheaper.

A bridge cam is convenient, full of features and so on. A DSLR is a more purposeful explicit instrument and eats money if you want to chase an idea. If you stay within Olympus's value for money range, you will fortunately not spend too much. 9-18mm, 50mm f/2, the two kit lenses, 70-300mm and the 12-60mm.

Olympus has the colours I like - the JPEGs are really good.
