lol :D Great idea and a great shot! So good to see you submitting your first entry.

I've actually just been in Sydney where I had a bit of a play with my brothers 85mm f1.8 - very nice lens, I'm sure you'll get alot of joy out of it!

Hi,

Great topic.. I had to search my archives to find entries for this challenge. I got only two.

Near Yosemite falls, there is a rock seat. It is made from a broken slab of granite.

This one is taken in Kerala, India. Some broken tiles at an island in Kerala's famous backwaters.

The toilet is an old abandoned one that was used by some bikers a while back, it is located in a field in Lincolnshire in the UK about 12 miles south of Stamford.

Tim - wonderful. Great interpretation.

And 'archives'? Whaddya mean - Aren't you guys going out taking brand new shots for this Challenge?? :P

Love the first one but the second, she looks very sharp considering her age!
What a great theme Drewbie! In other challenges I've submitted older photos but this time I'd thought I'd actually look out for things that fit the theme on a trip to Sydney this weekend. Unfortunately it poured with rain all weekend so we really didn't go out much!

1. Broken Balustrade

On my brothers balcony - I was sitting there contemplating the rain when I spotted this.

2. Broken Century

My Nana, born 1910!! Also, she's retired and doesn't work anymore......sorry couldn't help myself ;)

3. Broken Wave

This is my goddaughter (creator of Shark Palace for those of you who may remember) breaking a wave at the beach recently.

Cheers Olivia

Geology has a facinating story to tell for those who can read it. Obviously you have some of this knowledge.

Nice shots. The first is my favorite.

Thanks Josha, for commenting. I feel these aren't a great representation of my photography (I use that term loosely!) but it's the best I can come up with this week!! I actually found some others that would have fit the bill but these are posted now, so will do.

My Nana is still pretty sharp in some respects - hard on the hearing and eyesight but she still never forgets a birthday!!! Or forgets to remind me of my biological clock ;)

Cheers Olivia
