Is there any way to do a mass name change on images?

Also is there a way to do a mass resolution change to lower the DPI?

I am trying to keep things in order for clients.

Any suggestions would be great

Do you want to do that in the camera or on your computer? On computer I think there are many possibilities to do that. Do you use Windows or Mac? Some Photoshop expert could probably help you. I don't use Windows or Mac, so I think my advices don't help you. (But if you want to know how to do this in unix let me know, then I can help you).

If you're on a PC, and trying to work on standard image files (jpg, tiff, etc.) I'd recommend Breezebrowser.

http://www.breezesys.com/BreezeBrowser/index.html

It's $35, but the trial version just limits the number of images you can deal with at a time. For Canon users, it does RAW conversion, but that probably isn't of interest to you.

It does have a really nice batch rename feature, as well as a great HTML generator.
