After my Fuji F200exr quit working I decided to get a E-420 with the two standard lenses. The price was so low this camera was less and a premium point and shoot.

Anyway here is my first photo posting in this forum. Please have a look and comment. I'm a rookie here so any pointers are appreciated.

Yes it's on my list. I'm going to get the 25mm pancake first, and the bigger zoom will be next.

Misha,

The artwork at that Flicker site is the best I've seen since Andy W. was a cub ! ;)

Really creative

Not bad rookie, 1/125 is a little slow for a camera without IS in low light, maybe ISO 800 would have knocked that little bit of blur off of the edges. It may sound crazy but my 510 seems to get bright with IS turned off, but that's an ok deer if you don't show it in too large of a size.

I think your going to have a lot of fun with your new camera and welcome to Olywood.

And now for something totally different

My influences are Newton, Lichtenstein and Hopper. I try to combine all three in one photograph. That was brave of Jean to model on my fire escape. There was a helicopter circling the whole time!! I'm right in the center of Chinatown. My wife was a good sport about it, too. This is her photograph:

I looked at your profile. Woodstock country. I'm from NYC; a triple New Yorker - NYC, New York County, NYS. Both of my degrees are from schools in Buffalo. My grandfather immigrated to the Lower East side.

Misha (E-Mail me the answer)

I was referring to the "Comic Art Posters": question, have you published or had a showing of any of these. I think all of your work is excellent, but these have a contingency to them.
