DPR doesn't do anything for free either. It's a commercial site. More traffic to the site, and more money they make. That's like saying that google does everything for free just because the users don't pay anything.They certainly have added more features and enhanced those that already exist.
This just means they are providing more services for us, and we are getting it for free.
Microsoft has Bing search engine (with cash back for ebay items). That's "free" according to your definition. Microsoft also has Windows live photo gallery ( http://gallery.live.com/ ) too, among other things.Microsoft never does anything for free.
