Portraits for C&C

A tad hot on the rear kicker, especially for a pretty girl. That's a look more suited to the 'guy' portrait, or more especially the 'sports' shot. Maybe dial it down 1/2 stop? Maybe more? Hard to say - try it and assess. Having said that, her skin tone can take it. I'd never go that hot with bad or older skin.

Other than that small thing, nicely done. Looks like a small fill or kick reflection in her eyes, especially the first shot. Clone it out.

These look great. Sure, the kicker might be a tad hot. But don't sweat it.

Very nicely done.

The lighting is a bit more on the 'fashion' side than what is normal for formal portraiture. The poses however are more of a formal portrait type.

But really who cares?
There are no real “rules”, it all depends on what look you want to achieve.

No harm in mixing things up even though it might cause some apoplexy in the stalwarts around here ;)

Yeah noticed that Reflection too, thanks.

Hi Charlie,
Thank you for looking + comments.
Hey Charlie I'd say you dont need that 50yrs, I say you still have it :) :)

Pretty lady, good shots. Maybe a tad hot, but as others have said, not enough to worry about.

I flat love that second shot. If I were some 50 years younger...truly a classy look.

I'm a sucker for lots of detail (portraits included). So I love these. Nice work!
Hi All,

Set up was S/Box camera left, reflector camera right, strip light opposite main light + blue gel on B/G.

I had the strip light 1+ half stop less than main but still think it's a bit Hot?????
Cheers

Very nice indeed. Love the second one. I do not believe that the lights are too hot. I like the look. For some it may be hot, but I like it.

Thanks for sharing.
