FujiMugs Challenge #118 is under way.

The subject is: Chocolate
"Chocolate in any form"

Entry period starts: Tuesday, January 5
Entry period ends: Thursday, January 21 23:59:59 GMT
Voting starts: Friday, January 22 00:00:00 GMT
Voting ends: Monday, January 25 23:59:59 GMT

You may submit entries taken with a Fujifilm digital camera to the Main category, and/or you may submit entries taken with any digital camera to the Open category. The subject (Chocolate) applies to both categories.

Your photo for either category must be taken during the entry period, starting Tuesday, January 5.

LOL Graham............Get it right in 1 take and you won't have to worry too much about the scales...

BUT I have a feeling I might need to do quite a few retakes as I'm sure our summer weather wil require me to eat the subject after just 1 shot before the choclolate melts........damn thats gonna be hard to take.... :)

If only I hadn't been so greedy and already eaten all of my lovely Christmas chocolates!

Never mind... I've now got a great excuse to go out and buy lots more!

Just logged on to see how I did in the last challenge and find out what the new one is. Sorry for not voting in the last one as I did not have internet access until today.

Chocolate, the day after I left San Carlos de Baralochie in Argentina, the chocolate capital of South America. Ah well, as I travelled up through San Martin de Los Andes and am now back in Pucon, Chile, I will just have to wait til I get back to snowy England.

Well done to the winners of the last one and good luck all with the diets.

LOL, actually I am not a big chocolate lover...I prefer cheese....(to eat that is)

But to photograph chocolate, well I've seen some wonderful chocolate photos over the past few years and thought it would be good for all of you in the cold northern hemisphere not to have to go outside for some photos.

Remember, chocolate doesn't just come a block or a bar..the possibilties are endless.

... a really nice steak, followed of course with yeah something with chocolate on it! LOL but really back to the point ... do you really not like chocolate? or will you try some now and again? I am wondering if there are folks who just hate the taste and won't touch it

hey Buck.......I do like a good chocolate bar now and then..........maybe once every 3 months or so. I think if I wanted too I could eat it more often but chocolate just isn't part of my regular eating. In australia we have a chocolate biscuit(cookie bar) called Tim Tams and they are the best biscuit on the planet but if I ate them on a reguar basis I'd end up 30 stone.

As for after dinner.......gimme a cheese platter with some fruit and some wine and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Once very 3 months?!!!! I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't get my daily fix! Seriously, I eat some chocolate every single day and can't image not having any for three whole months!

JB, your wonderful 'Expressed with chocolate' shot in the 'Love' challenge would have been perfect for this one!

Definitely milk for me, the creamier the better. Swiss and Belgian are the best. I hate dark chocolate!

My favourite filling is praline, which in the UK is a paste of ground up, sugar-coated almond and/or hazelnuts ... yummy!

My least favourite are hard caramel centres.

Not fair! I was born to eat chocolate, not to photograph it. :-P

I still have some uneaten from Christmas, though (lucky me got lots), and the possibility of some time this week.
Now what I need is a half-decent idea...

Been too long since I entered a challenge. Hope I can join in with you all on this one. :-)

Congrats on your win, Leanne, and on another fine photo. I like Jacob's Creek wines too. :D

Hope the new year's got off to a good start for everybody.

Gee Linda, chocolate everyday?......I can't imagine that.

When I do eat chocolate I like ones with nuts in them or caramello or the ones with the alcohol in them( surprise surprise ;) )

I have bought quite a few chocolatey products this past week and have been experimenting (and eating) . I will probably end up with so many shots I won't know which to enter...LOL

I don't really go crazy with chocolate.... except sometimes...
And then I get really ill, like my system is haywire.
These days even two or three little chocolates will make me feel uneasy.
But I still like it.

I do like hot chocolate though.
