Yes, I think the addition of the very good EVF to the Pen line does invite comparison to the GH1. A good case can be made for either. I've been shooting with the Pen with and without the EVF and it's a different shooting experience... and the size and weight, though only slightly different, is noticeably different to me.

There is no comparison as the EP-2 is still missing the EVF which when fitted makes the camera ludicrously difficult to pocket, still no articulating LCD and having to hold a camera at arms length with a zoom in order to frame/focus/shoot is just not for me at all.

BTW an e-p2 with a pancake lens or a lot of other small primes are much smaller than the GH1 with superzoom.

For the record, I forgot that the optional GF1 EVF adds $200 to the price of the GF1. So the E-P2 is competively priced against the GF1. I still blanche at the thought of spending $1100 for either when you can get the GH1 for $1300...

You appear to assume the GH1 is not a great cam that pretty much covers everything the E-P2 offers and adds superior video.

I should hope so.
 
I had the EP1, hated the focus speed and some other minor things. I now own the GF1 and am very happy. Manual focus is easier with the hig res LCD and auto focus, no contest! The Panny with the 20 is easily TWICE as fast as the Oly with the 17.
