Fantastic photos. Great to have a chase plane to be in perfect position to get in-flight shots!

What lense are using? How do have the camera mounted or is someone there helping you? You have a great job, wish I could experience it. Thanks for these great images.

Definitely.

You pilot and take amazing pictures... That's too much ;0)

Hey, post more ofter Captain, we miss your shots as they are unique due to your position and also talent.

Thanks once again and as other already wrote it, happy christmas at 24000 feet and be careful with the champagne cork !!

Beautiful photos as usual. I grew up in Phoenix and use to go to Luke Field to watch the F-16's. Your photos bring back memories. Thanks.

Jeremy - these are awesome photos. I see a few references to a 1DsMkII in the EXIF data, but also a 1D. You've probably discussed this before, but any comments on why you're still using this camera? And why the Sigma and not the Canon 24-70 lens?

Peter

Thanks for the reply. The only camera I own is the old original 4MP 1D. This is just a hobby for me and I don't have the funds for a new one yet. I would love to get my hands on a 1DsMkIV when it comes out. However, I will have to wait until it is released and then the price drops a bit.

The original lens I bought for the 1D was the Sigma 24-70 f2.8. Again a funds issue. It is not the best, but works. I want to upgrade someday.

As for the reference to the 1DsMkII. I had a great friend that loaned me the body for a photo shoot with the US Thunderbirds. He was very kind to do that.

Until I can upgrade I will continue to shoot 4 MP at a time.

Thanks again for the comments on my work.
