Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and digital photography. I have enjoyed 35mm SLR photography for a while now, and will continue to, but also want to enjoy digital photography. I have been looking for a camera that will give me some measure of manual control, not just a PHD (press here dummy) camera. I knew I wanted a Sony, and the f707 seems to be the one to get.

With the f717 coming out, buying a used, well cared for f707 should be possible. Anyone interested in selling? I hope I'm not too late.

It has been great to learn from this forum, and I look forward to learning and sharing more.

I've thought about e-bay, and I appreciate the suggestion & link. One of my biggest concern is that on e-bay I have no idea who is selling the camera, and it might be hard to tell if it is grey market or not. While I'm new to the forum, I feel I can trust most people here as far as the origin and condition of the camera.

I know how e-bay works, and I know I can check up on the seller, but I don't really think I can do that on the camera. I also imagine there are several people from here selling there camera on e-bay.

Thanks for the tip, and if anyone else is selling, please let me know.

I have a 3 month old one. All the original packaging but 8Meg memory stick (64M instead). Also I have a couple of 128M sticks more and a MS/CF reader, if you are interested in (if not, I'll use them with future [maybe] F717).
The camera is in very good conditions and takes perfect pictures.
