Unbalanced? Front heavy? Would I need a GH or G body to properly use this lens? Thanks.

(also, always love 7-14 pics if you have em...)

I think it would be more like how the 7-14 would feel with the GF or EP since you would probably want to hold the combination by the lens. The combination would most definitely be front heavy.

Edit: My fault. Wrong 7-14.

That's amazing! How big is the 14-140 comparably?

Teb, you got a website where I can check out some of your pics? (I am also a NYer, a bunch of us on the Fred and Miranda site are meeting up to take photos this Sunday morning if your interested).

Okay, so this may make no sense, but from the M4/3rd pics I have looked at, I have tended to like the ones with shallow DOF, but the ones that would be at higher f stops, where the m4/3rds should shine, have seemed less sharp, and more P&Sish... this really worries me as I am primarily, although not only, a landscape guy.

(Teb, not yours in particular, I was speaking generally about most of the M4/3rds pics i have looked at)

I didn't realize the 7-14 was so small....This is adding to my want for this lens! 7-14, 20, and 45 would be a fun little travel kit.

Hmm would it because due to the slightly smaller sensor you would reach diffraction sooner as you stop downwards?

Not an issue for me so far however, m43 IQ looks good enough for medium sized prints at least. (sorry Edit: based on the sample pics I have seen so far, I'm still waiting for a re-stock of the GF-1 : P)
