D300s INFO button video

Sorry, I never had the patience to watch long video sequences of simple things. Also in this case, over 4 minutes long instruction video about the Info button isn't really my taste. Reading the manual is faster.

Nothing against you, it is technically well made, which is more that what can be said about many other youtube clips, but I never understood the point with these type of instruction clips.

I'm also impatient! It would not surprise me that the folks willing to watch the 4 minutes are ones that are considering the purchase and want to see, in detail, how the camera actually operates. I know that when I pick up someone else's lustworthy camera, there are so many things that I forget to check/observe. Learning how the camera works in a manual is one thing, seeing how the menus respond, etc... is another entirely.

Thanks!

Leigh

Nice little video.

The D5000 works in much the same way with it's info button although it has more setting available via that route.

Youtube has some useful videos if you take time to look. Sometimes a few minutes looking is well worth it.

Olyflyer, so why do you have the patience to bother writing your comment.
Because I have the patience to read and write, but not to watch instruction video about things as simple as the info screen. I am just more made for reading then for YouTube. I also find YouTube to be painfully slow. No, it is not my broadband... :p just in case you would put the blame on that...

Sorry, we are not created all the same. I am a manual reader type.

I found the video very informative and helpful in making a decision to purchase a 300s.
Yes, I guess a video can help in selling a product, especially if it is well made and high quality like this one.
I have watched many youtube camera reviews, and I must say that you have the best looking fingernails.
Well, I originally wanted to comment that as well, but I thought I better not, in case comments on her looks are not appreciated. In any case, well polished nails and good looking's help to stay tuned for the four minutes... ;)

Welcome to the forum and the new D300s. Interesting to note the differences between the D300 & D300s in this regard I also think I saw a few updates to the myMenu options in one of your screen shots.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

Leigh,

I thought it was a very good video. Well worth the time. If was in the market for a new camera, it might have tipped me on a purchase too. The info button is almost a good enough reason to upgrade - at least to me.

Your efforts are appreciated.

I am a long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks for taking the time to do the info button vid. I am a new D300s user, not much experience yet on the camera, so most anything is a help. And your appearance is just fine!

It's not easy to do what you do , keep up the good work.
