Take this one in a desolate industrial zone near to the river and didn't see a human being during the two hours that I was there and when I was adjusting my position of my tripod and checking everything for taking this picture I was wondering to see suddenly someone walking in that street. So now you have to decide who's the invisible man. Hope that you like it.

If intersted you can see some more of the invisible (one where he is less invisible) man here: http://www.pbase.com/dievee/the_invisible_man

Hi Dirk

A lot of creativity on these pictures.
Like Jim, I prefer this one:

Just curious: is it part of a work for a client?

I am asking since it's quite different from what you used to do. I have remarked you were exploring different directions in photography anyway. Like your "food grabbing" series.

Keep on experimenting!

Well, whoever that man is, you should thank hin for making this photo an even better one. Great light, and a sense of mystery, even more so because of the mystery man

Hello Dirk,

Good series. Shooting for a project?

Hi Dirk, love the whole series of the invisible man!!! I prefer the one with him smoking and the one with a roof behid him, wonderful work!!!

Hi Dirk:

Nice one (the same zone where you shot Miel?) I saw this at Pbase,
only commented the "invisible man with lit cigarette " ;)
The man walking bluried on this complete perfectly the scene
Have a nice week,
Hello Martin,

Very well seen, it's exactly the same area as for the Miel shots. Thanks for the kind comment and also for commenting on the cigarette. I typed this in before but after pushing Post, the rubbish of Microsoft crashed, so I'm trying again.

Salut Christophe,

Thanks for the kind appreciation. No it's not for a client, just things that I have in my head and that I will trying to put in pictures, I will continue this series with different weather, like fog and rain to add even more mood and also try to change the persons in the image but I have to find them and they must have time at the moment that I have time to go there. Have plenty of ideas for other shots in my head and series but time is always the biggest problem. I think that you saw that these are different because I set them up and it were not snapshots as usual. I choosed the position for the person and could use longer exposures that gives more possibilities to arrange the images. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Hi Jouko,

I agree, I was very glad to see him in my viewfinder and waited that he was in the position that I wanted. Sometimes you don't see one human being there for hours.

Striking! Love the composition and fine processing. Saw the series, also like

equally striking with a different frame.

Hello Hugh,

Thanks Hugh, no not for a project, but now that you mention that I will maybe present them to a publisher for which I work, maybe they can use some for their detective or thriller series.

Hi Tigg,

Thanks for the fine words, I really appreciate them. I also like the one you mentioned. Will take some more in other weather conditions when I find enough time.

Hi John,

Thanks very much for the kind word, shoot these in Raw with the S2 and they didn't need much processing. The one you mentioned is taken a few meters from the area in the first image and on the horizon you can see the skyline of the town of Antwerp in Belgium with the cathedral.

With very kind regards,

Dirk
