E-P2 AF Tracking video tutorial

Just watched the video. Will be interested to see how this works out as it looks like for many people to use AF tracking you will no longer be able to use the AE/AF lock button for your normal non "tracking" mode focus. It also doesn't seem like you can get focus with a half press if you don't want to track focus and just want to use the center point. Or you will be constantly going deep in the menus to change mode 4 on and off.

Am I missing something?

While in shooting mode, pressing the SET button brings up a quick menu for many facets of the current shooting setting - one of them being the AF choice. So there's no need to dig down through the menu system.

Since the C-AF can be customized separately from the other modes, it's not an all or nothing proposition. The flexibility for customization can be as confusing as it is enabling (and I'm still trying to grok it all).

Yeah, I was wondering why this was shown this way, implying that this was "the" way to set it up. I would imagine that most people would not want to set it up this way (AEL button dedicated to AF tracking, and no ability to focus by half pressing.) There are people that want AF on the AEL button of course, but this puts tracking on there. The way that I'd use it would be to just select CAF-TR from the super menu or from the AF mode button, and then just half press to start tracking.
