Want to see stunning pics of rain please

I am always wary of taking my camera out when it rains after I got some rain a few years ago in one of my cameras and it stopped working for a day. But anyway, I am sure there are those out there that have taken some great pics in appalling weather conditions. Can you please share these with us and give us some of the inspiration and advice to do the same?

This may not be what you are after ,but it is a hail storm ( not snow ) we had go through one day earlier this year.I was cheating and undercover and able to get down low without getting wet.
