Overall I must say this looks like a great camera! Too bad they didn't increase the sensor to 5 or 6MP; but you can't really complain about the number of improvements they have made. I'm quite interested in seeing actual reviews, even though I'm not in the market..

role in the buying decision.
i agree, def not a cam for me but some may like it like that. Leica's have always been classy looking cameras. Functional and very basic, simple in design but so simple its almost boring. Maybe, just maybe Canon was going for this type of look and feel. With all the other manufacturers coming out with wilder high tech designs it seems Canon wanted to take a step backwards. Retro is in fashion again.I think it does in other camera/photograph level.
This one really looks like a brick with buttons but after a deep
look at the specs I wouldn’t bother to buy a brick like that!
