I placed an order a week or so ago, tried so, so many times to checkout online, first using CC on file then with paypal, kept timing out and/or getting error screens. Finally had to call the order in.
I tried in the last week of November and the system wouldn't accept my credit card as valid. I phoned and complained and they said the technical problems were the reason. On 1 December I tried again and it worked fine. (Although there's something wrong with the value of the order in the shipping progress report that I am now trying to sort out ... ).
I think it's up and running as normal now. They're very efficient. I just wish the shipping costs to this part of the world weren't so painful ...
