This is a weekly thread devoted to street photography.

The street has a thousand voices, a thousand moods, a thousand rhythms. The full range of human emotion is on display on the streets of our cities, from joy to anguish to diffidence to despair, if we only slow down long enough to look for them.

Show us a little part of your world--- all cameras welcome, all styles of street shooting appreciated.

This was a quicky I took last week of a couple taking a picture of the Capitol. It might have been sharper but my wife tends to poke at me when I take this type of shot.

SIGNATURE: This is a picture I did not take of a tall, greying man with crooked teeth whom I've encountered three times while photographing downtown, and each time, he's approached me quickly from the front, with a long stride, and each time he's leaned toward me and said the exact same thing 'OLD ONES ARE BETTER' while palming his ancient brass Leica, opening his hand enough to show me what's there, but not enough really showing-off!' (An Unknown Leica Street Photographer)

I didn't realize you are so close, I have often seen the name Stefan in posts, challanges, etc. and along with the name the phrase "cheers" and ass-u-me-d you are from a far away land, not so we are almost neighbors. Cheers

It was a bit cold and my hands were shaking. So I had my Canon A620 P&S at ISO 400 which is a bit out of its comfort range.
