For now I have my favorite lens DA*16-50.. it's because it's f/2.8 and contrasty lens. I like the zoom range because I was used to DA18-55AL in past and like the wider end. With combination with sealed body it's ideal allday lens for me. What I dislike is softness at 50mm and AF cloud be faster. Also the zoom range could be more taller and end up at the 70mm (16-70/2.8).

DA55.
Great lens that seems to work in most situations.

DA35 and 50-135 runners up.

Biggest disappointment: the 16-50.

Agree with LaRee. Curious that no 70 or 77 yet.

I just enjoy using the 43. It is light, fast and the cap doesn't fall off like the new style. It is the standard prime size so it makes a nice walk around lens. I probably wouldn't own it if I owned the FA 31 or DA 35 but I don't. I know the FA50 is a lot (a huge lot) cheaper but I got mine before the worst of the price increases hit.

I probably still use my 17 - 70 more, but with that range in zoom, who wouldn't.

Amateurs worry about equipment,
Professionals worry about time, Masters worry about light

Tough question, as the very point of a DSLR is the possibility to change lenses for different needs.
On my top list:

FA 35mm 2.0 Unbeatable price/performance ratio. Have stopped my urge for the FA-L 31mm
F* 300mm 4.5 Stellar everything
A* 85mm 1.4 How could that lens be excluded from a favourite list?

A* 600mm 5.6 The Ferrari of lenses - not very useable for weight and size, but when it is... WOW

Now the 200/2.5 is a very fine lens , I still have mine :-)

My favourite would perhaps be a toss up between this and the A70-200 f4 (which was stolen). Now I may have better lenses than the 70-200 f4 and there really good current alternatives at that focal length as well (some of which I have) but there was something special about that lens. It was simply a pleasure to hold and use, the trombone style zoom allowed DOF markings and old fashioned working styles centering around depth of field, and I simply liked the way it rendered images. I'm still not sure whether I want to replace it or not, they are available and cheap so thats not an issue but it would duplicate lenses I already have - and a replacement might not be as good as the old but mint copy I had.

I love my DA35/2.8...

But wait, I couldn't live without my DA12-24/4.0 either:

...and the SMC Pentax-M 100/2.8 I've had ever since my K1000 days is a wonderful lens too...

How lucky I am to be in such a quandry!

Ditto. I only wished it were weather sealed for days like today.
