Rumor round-up with PhotoKina right around the corner

I'm sorry, I can't reveal my source, but I did some digging so as
to confirm this and my reliable source tells me... THE LOCH NESS
MONSTER WILL BE AT THE SIGMA BOOTH AT PHOTOKINA!

--Steve
Of course all companies we know will be coming out with new products for us to buy and the next full size sensor will win the game for 2002 and part of 2003. dont be shocked when you hear about a new canon with 12 meg to be released this fall its on the way sooner than later

....there could be a surprise with the price.

The Sigma people are either very stupid, or they fully realize they
really need to have at least one functioning Foveon camera
in their hands, that they can bring to Photokina and show to
people.
Sorta like the one they had for PMA back in February?

Seriously, working preproduction cameras exist and have been handled
by non-Sigma people. I think you'll see retail shipments this month.
Gee, by now with all of the history, how fast will it take to get to oh say, double digit sales?

Just spoke to one of our sources who has had an SD-9 in hand to play with for a while. Interesting report. Looks like they will indeed be at Photokina, but is it too late?
