Not free any more (it actually was!) but you can get this PhotoRecovery program that works like a bomb for $39.95.

Is this the same as the one Christian Grau once offered for free? The link I have doesn't work anymore (but I do have it installed...whew!) and I'd still recommend it even at $39.95. But you did need a card reader to use the free one.
