i guess this is a good deal, i have been thinking about it for sometime, i guess it's the right time for me to buy lx3 with such great price
 
Yeah, but it was $399 for the black yesterday through Amazon (and when I looked at it, there were 2 in stock - when I refreshed the page, they were gone).
 
I bought a refurbished Nikon lens (doesn't matter which one) from Adorama for $199+$7 shipping a few months ago. A few weeks before that it was $226 plus free shipping. A few weeks ago it was $349. Now it's not available.

If you know what you want and you've seen it somewhere, anywhere, you have to check daily to get the price you're willing to pay and immediately hit "add to cart". Fortunately I've never had LX3 fever!
 
Yes - even in UK where LX3 prices have consistently been MUCH higher..and many difficulties in getting one - right now..maybe helped by both a pre-Xmas attraction to boost sales...plus the fact that the shine seems a little gone from the LX3 as it was...I saw just today, a good quality dealer in UK offering some excellent bargains.. including a brand new official UK LX3 at £295.

THAT price has never been seen for at least 15 months here.. £350 to £375 being more of a norm ..

You might consider ordering it from PC Connection. It took two weeks to ship, but it was $400 shipped when it finally did... Not sure when they get their next shipment in, but here's the link. Currently still shows out of stock and the same price I bought it at (11/21, 1:30 AZ time).

Was going to post this exact info...

finally decided on an LX3- searched several price comparison sites and somehow found PC Connection. They're a reputable retailer afaik. *$399.*

I inquired before ordering, the new shipment will be in the first or second week of Dec.

Just joined dp after doing research on S90, GF-1, and LX3... hoping I made the best choice, but I figured between these I couldn't go too wrong for my needs.
