Wish Lenses

I would be first in line for a 50 f/1.4 ring USM! Also a 35 f/2 ring USM. It would be great if Canon started to update some of these older lenses to ring USM.

I'd also buy a 135 f/2 IS if there was one.

I really like this focal length on a full frame camera.

If it could be combined with the image quality and characteristics of the 35mm 1.4L it would be a killer combo in my opinion.

What lenses that don't exist do want?

Lenses I would like to see are
Canon 30mm 1.4 IS USM
Canon 18-200 IS USM

Other idea's?
Canon 135 F1.4 IS L lens as sharp wide open as the 200 F2 IS L wide open

Canon 400 F5.6 IS L lens

Canon 70-200 F2.8 II IS L lens as sharp wide open as the 70-200 F4 IS L wide open

Canon 14-24 F2.8 L lens as excellent as the Nikkor 14-24 ED lens

Canon 50 F0.95 L lens

Canon 8 F2.8 L fisheye

Cheers!

EF-S 10-20 f2.8 IS L,

C'mon Canon, if you're going to make a single digit 'pro' crop camera, give it some pro EF-S lenses , it shouldn't be that hard!

EF-S 100 USM IS Macro (using standard non-hybrid IS with 4-stops stabilization)
  • big brother to 60mm macro
  • $500
EF-S 100-400 USM IS (modern 4-stop IS instead of early IS on existing EF 100-400L)
  • big brother to existing EF-S 55-250 IS
  • $400
EF-S 50mm USM IS f2.0
  • little brother to existing EF 50mm, but better build quality and modern IS
  • $100

EF 50-150 2.8 L IS
Great for indoor sports and stage work.

EF 100-300 F4 L IS
I think most outdoor sports shooters would love this

85 1.8
100 F2
135 F2
All with IS

Yes, that would be a nice one. I keep thinking F4 for it, but for size and weight saivings 5.6 is probably ideal.

Especially with f/2.8, I just don't see need for IS below about 50mm.
