****** Mini Challenge 225: Camera on the ground ******

People were stepping over me as I lay down on the sidewalk to take this:

An excellent lens lasts a lifetime, an excellent DSLR, not so long.

Really like the perspective of all the great shots so far. Wish I'd had a swivel LCD like 'photodug' above. :) I got to lay in the snow for these during a break in the snowfall.

Yellow Stripes wouldn't be the same without the matching flowers lining the road. Both are nice shots--as always.

Did you set your camera in a hole, or is that REALLY long grass? LOL

Talk about perspective! Those are great for color, sharpness and framing for this challenge.

Nice challenge! I see a lot of really impressive entries that I can’t compete with but I will participate for the fun of it!

Now, my three entries. I opted for variety so one is from a dSLR, one is from a P&S and one is from a mobile phone!

I was laying in the mud to capture these spring time tulips and the camera was setting on a landscape stone.

50D and 17-40.

Here's another snowy shot. Actually (and technically) that's not snow on the clump of grass.
Taken with the old Canon G2 several years ago.

Hope to see more shots coming in.

Nice frame and colors. Is it possible that a small enough aperature could get most of those flowers in focus? Curious what f-stop you used.

Mud is warmer to lay in than snow, but a little harder to brush off, I'm sure. My, what photographers won't go through to get a shot. :)

F8 & 38mm. I was very close to the flowers due to a cluttered background. In the next shot I took, I adjusted a little and had a little more DOF but had 4 OOF people in my frame.

I actually toned down the colors a touch because the red channel was to the right and climbing the wall because of the mid afternoon high sun.

I like the first one the best, the perspective the little one gives is great.
