I did not buy the lens kit when it was offered by KODAK for $100, does anyone know where it can be bought at a reasonalble cost now?

Susan,

Are you referring to the Ektanar digital Camera Lens kit which was popular when the camera was first released??

I purchased one but have never used it, if your interested, shoot me an e-mail. I'll throw in the lens adapter.

Regards,

Chris

I bought the Kodak WA and TELE lens for my DC290 and found they produced terrible results. I suspect they'll do the same on the 4800. My advice - take it or leave it -- is to save your money for your next camera.

I bought the tele, the wide angle, and the close up lens kits for the dc4800, and as far as I'm concerned, they are worth every penny. Of course there is some barrel distortion with the wide angle, but other than that, they are everything that I would hope for.
