The rhythms and colors of the Great Plains landforms are very beautiful and inspiring. I took this impressionist image a few weeks ago with the E-3 and 12-60 SWD. Location was east of Badlands National Park along I90.

Robert; that's a beautiful shot and very nicely done. I like the impressionistic effect very much, but I can tell you that many here don't/can't appreciate blurred photos-- don't let it bother you though;> )

I may be biased as I grew up in N.D.

Cheers. Craig

Im not fan of blured photos but this one is really beautiful. good job man :)

It's optimistic. A pleasure to view...
What shutter speed? I guess about 1/15th...

Yup.. that oe works.. its rare to see that type of shot work well but in this case you nailed it!

Excellent picture!

I like it, Robert. Like many of your other blurred landscapes, it has a smooth richness to it, and the composition is pleasing.

I'm going to have to show it to the middle schoolers I have been working with in a photo class. They love trying to make blurred impressionist photos (and of course make plenty when they aren't trying).

Thanks Craig. Yes, I also find many don't appreciate blurred photos. One person just loved one of my prints, saying it was a beautiful watercolor. When I explained it was actually a blurred photo, he didn't like it anymore!
