Lovely esp #1.

Quite stunning. I even like the slightly over the top PP in the second one.

I've been on Dpreview since June 2006. Unfortunately, some posting history has been lost along the way...

  1. 1 would be better without the rocks, they seem out of place and aren't needed as foreground in reflection photos.

I disagree, respectively, about the rocks in #1. I think they provide a real-world perspective that the viewer would probably experience at the site AND provide clues to the surrounding terrain. They made me think beyond the image.
  1. 2 is stunning BTW.

I like that we can see the foliage through the windows. Very good shot.

I know everybody is doing that but why do they all transform the waterfalls this way? not sure if it looks that good in the end. Sorry, just my own taste.

These pictures really show well the beauty of our autumn. The first one show best the leaves colors, but the second composition is stronger. I love falls and old buildings, so it have all to please me. They look a little bit like a HDR pictures, am I wrong ?

I spent one week in Gatineau last August and liked the area a lot. We visited the Omega park and I really want to go there at fall to take advantage of the leaves colors (nice background). Your pictures give me one more reason to go back as I definitively want to take some pictures of this fall. Could you please tell me where it is located in the parc ?

Excellent work !!!
