Big problem with my D100

It's been over a month now since i got my D100 and more than 5000 pictures later, there's a big issue with it:

It really made me more addicted than ever to photography, and spending more and more money in photographic material.

I'm making prints that everybody loves,

after learning the do's and don't do's here in the forum and in other sites, i'm starting to really get amazed by the results i'm getting.

I've used it to shoot a summer festival in Portugal, please check and comment at

To shoot my summer vacations while working with children:

http://www.escritacomluz.com/joaop/taize/

And really really loved every result.

Fortunately, i'm a photoshop monkey, manipulating most of the pictures. It really makes the difference in your favourites, but printing without editing also gives excellent results for showing off to friends.

Thank you so much to all the people in the forum, for having such a critical eye to common problems. At the end i chose the D100 because of what i read here and because i had lots of friends with nikon gear willing to lend me their material.

Oh, I also got Digital Velvia actions from fredmiranda.com , they really spice up D100 pictures. Check my gallery!

Sounds like you need to invest in a continuous inking system for your poor overworked printer...

Just got my D100 last night. I am having the same problem--I just love the darn thing! I find myself scheming up ways to quit my day job (which was a career, until yesterday) and finding ways to earn a living with my camera in-hand.

No pictures posted yet. Big trip next week, though...

Great photo's... looks like you've got it... how long have you been shooting???....

João,

I'm sorry but I'll write in portuguese.

também tenho uma D100 desde a 2a feira passada. Onde é que imprimes as fotos e quais os preços? A qualidade é boa?

tchau

Really nice work :)
I was beginning to think we all forgot just what we got our cameras for, taking pictures. It is refreshing to see people talking about how great the D100 is instead of all the nix picking. I am with you when you say it is consumming all my time. What a great hobby.
Thanks

Thanks!

Not for long, it's my first SLR system,
so i'm investing hard on material right now.

Hi Shaques,

I usually print in http://foto.sapo.pt/ , they're a small store in parque expo, lisboa with a great online service.

They're prices are not the cheapest, but

they are the best professionals i know for digital printing. I've tried other stores in which i wasn't so happy with the results.

Their price for print jobs:

--- Same thing, in Portuguese:

Viva Shaques,

JP
