I am new to digital photography. I shoot baseball/softball tournaments and have Fuji FinePix S1 Pro. What is the lowest setting I can use to get acceptable prints (Olympus Di-Sub) up to 8x10.

I shoot thousands of photos per tournament and can't handle a huge file size. Not looking to print a masterpiece or a newspaper print. Where is the happy medium?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Still living in the 35mm world!

Karen,

You will get mcuh better response if you post this in the Fuji SLR forum, but if you can shoot in the 3Mp mode, that should be more than sufficient for decent 8x10s.

Hi Karen,

I have tried different resolutions and have found that 3megapixel fine mode will produce good 8X10 prints..Make sure you use fine and not normal.
