Sensational - awesome night sky shots - that's what I would love to achieve as a photographer - sadly my skills are way below my ambitions :P

Juza, just wondeful shots.

A couple of questions. on the sigma, do you remember what focal length these were shot at?

Next the dusk tree shot, any reason you choose iso 50? I thought the best dynamic range is at iso 200

Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures, it's seeing such beautiful work that keeps me striving to improve my skills as a photographer.

Very nice! You really get the feeling you're there with these. I'm really beginning to take a likeness to the Sigma 12-24. I have stayed away from buying it due to the insane amount of bad stories I hear regarding Sigma QC. But everything I see shows it's got a great color saturation. Like built in Velvia. Thanks for the posts.

The only true wisdom I have to impart is to say.....get out there and shoot! Anything else is subject to interpretation.

Oh...my...goodness. What stunning photographs! Every single one was outstanding. Please share more! more!

Thanks for the comment!

I use almost always the 12-24 at 12mm..I love the extreme wide angle!

At ISO 50 there is 1 stop less DR than at ISO 100, but when the DR of the scene is limited, you can use ISO 50 and get a little less shadow noise than ISO 100.
