Here's a few, the first one is of a waterfall just outside of Leavenworth in Eastern Washinton.

The second one is of a guy we passed on the way to Leavenworth. I spotted this guy on a horse as we were traveling over the mountains and told my buddy Jim to turn around so I could get his photo. Well after turning around and driving to a turnout to wait for him I started having second thoughts. I started wondering if this tough hombre might be armed and the only shooting that happens would be from him not of him, if you get my drift. Wells as it turned out my fears were unfounded as he was a very pleasant fellow. This man had ridden accross the entire United States on horseback (Yep Really) stopping in towns across the country to preach the Gospel. Wow this guy has rode something like 3000 miles on horseback. Well after chatting a bit he told us to take all the pictures we wanted as long as we promised to use them for the Glory of God. Well I just snapped a quick 2 pics then continued talking with him while Jim walked around with his E-3 taking dozens. Well still to this day I havn'nt seen Jim's he probably had his lens cap on or something LOL. Oh well interesting story of the guy I thought, what a ride this must have been. Oh almost forgot he started his ride in No. Carolina and I wish I could remember his name.

These were taken at a market we stopped at on the way over the mountains.

like the mist, Larry, we had the same fog/mist when I woke up this morning in central, NJ but did not get out in time to record it,, it burned off fast,, definitely a great fall day in the MidAtlantic/Northeast

I love all the shots (the B&W gets my vote from the 1st two shots) and I love the misty mood of the 3rd shot but.............truth be told, the deer shot wins the day for me. I love deer and the scene is just gorgeous, I'm glad you caught their attention and they looked up at you too. It just makes them seem more 'into' the whole photo thing. Great shot Dharma!

Went out during lunch Friday to practice my birding technique. No birds in sight, but some interesting clouds. Now it looks like I'll have to practice clouds some more, too.

Would love to print a couple of these and frame them. Pictures like these show me just how far I have to go but also inspire me to keep trying.
