It will eat your camera, your wife and your house and ultimately destroy the entire universe. Aside from that, it seems to be harmless.

Yes. Pop it in the micrwave on high for ten minutes, that'll kill all the bugs. Don't forget to put the fire out afterwards and dispose of the remains of the LX3 responsibly.
Or you can ignore all the above and carry on, like I am
